This is a world of dreams, and a world of hurt: it is the past echoing outward into the future because there is so much pain and frustration built into every single thread that makes up this fabric of reality. Humankind versus Demonkind -- it is a fierce battle that has waged on and on with no end in sight: years, decades, centuries, millenias have passed. There is no memory of it's beginning, only the hard truths: Humankind have been given a gift of blood, of power to touch the elements that create the world. Wind, Fire, Water, Earth, Heart -- these things have segmented into Light and Dark, and are not defined by Good or Evil, but by the shadows and light. There is no Good in the world. There is no Evil: there is simply this. War. It is an ongoing war without merit, without rules but one: do not cross-breed. It is a war that has gone on a long time, until even that edict was erased in timelessness. No one remembers the first offenders who first broke the taboo, only that it repeated itself -- again, and again.
Hanyou: half-breed, half-blood. Half-demon, Half-human, with no powers of their own, but a deformation of their flesh. Part human, they have the same senses, but with their demonic heritage comes a darker thread, a stain that ostracizes them: parts of their bodies are bestial, taking on the image of their demonic parents who did not want them. They cannot shift, but caught between this half-state they are hated by both humans and demons, loathed for the implication of their existence. And so the coined term: Immunda. Lewd, Unclean, Impure, those who have sunk so far down they cannot even be touched or the disease will spread to the unwary. Immunda: the human women who have given birth to Hanyou have been named Demon-lovers, bitches in heat who spread their legs for any demon who would touch their spoiled flesh. It's easy to blame the humans, for there was no way for them to blame the Demons -- they were too powerful to be caught, and with such a disgust for the offspring, they merely left the children to die.
Using their powers, Humans leashed the Hanyou's to their side to be used as a weapon against the war with the Demonic. Faster, stronger, agile, Hanyou may not have had magic, but they had a physical prowess that surpassed their human ancestry and were used as weapons in disguise. Human mothers were used as bait, Hanyou children were weeded out and abused, and they suffered under abject humiliation and hatred. Demon parents were rarely, if ever, seen and only fueled the Hanyou's resentment. That was until Xaphan, child prodigy, Hanyou and enslaved as the rest. Gathering forces to him, he started an uprising, breaking free of the cycle of slavery, though there were some who were too cowardly to follow. The carnage of his first escape with his allies brought him directly in front of Mephistopheles, Demon King, who, for reasons unknown, decided to help the tainted child. And so the war wages again, Demonkind supporting their lost offspring in an epic battle to overturn the Humans. With the rise of Andarial Featherstone, the newest Queen to the throne, murderess and usurper of the crown, a new era has awoken.
Welcome to the battle of blood, of guts and glory; Welcome to your beginning, your infamy, your future; Welcome to Terran -- do you have the strength to fight for your freedom?
