Its prosess is slow, normaly taking thousands and thousands of years, but every few millinium, evelution leaps forward.Hello, my name is Professor Charles Xavier. You may call me Professor X for short. Welcome to my mansion, it's a school for gifted youngsters, or mutants. When the youngsters learn to controll their gifts, they may become X-men. The X-men have one purpose;protect both mutants and humans alike from threats and violence. So, what do you say, are you up to it?

Jean GreyShe is in a relationship with Cyclops and works as the doctor of the X-Mansion. She has the powers of telekinesis and telepathy. Inside her exist...The Phoenix!
CyclopsHe is the second leader of the X-Men behind Xavier, and is the team's field leader when they are out on missions as well as an instructor at the Institute. He is in love with Jean Grey and has a relationship with her. He produces a strong red beam of force from his eyes, which is only held in check by specialized ruby-quartz goggles and sunglasses.
StormShe works as a teacher at the X-Mansion and has the ability to manipulate the weather. Ororo has become bitter with other people's hatred for mutants, she sometimes hates humans-
Wolverine
[/right]RogueA seventeen-year-old girl, forced to leave her family in Mississippi after putting her boyfriend in a coma by kissing him. If she touches anyone, she absorbs their strength, memories and abilities, potentially killing them. During her travels, she meets Wolverine, who becomes fatherly to her. She begins to have a romance with Bobby Drake.
BeastA former student of Xavier's School who is now the Secretary of Mutant Affairs in the U.S. government. Beast is covered in blue fur and has a genius level I.Q., and heightened strength and agility. He is a brilliant scientist and researcher with vast intelligence and insight into mutant genetics.
IceManA student at Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters who takes a liking to Rogue. He can change temperatures to subzero degrees and use the moisture in the air to create ice.
AngelAngel originally possessed a pair of large feathered wings extending from his back enabling him to fly. He is the heir and CEO of the multi-billion dollar Worthington Industries. This privileged background resulted in Warren being stereotyped as an arrogant and self-absorbed playboy during his early years with the X-Men.
Kitty Pryde: She can "phase" through matter, which allows her to walk through solid objects.[/b]
Peter Rasputin / Colossus: He can transform his skin into an organic metal, granting superhuman strength and a resistance to damage.
BROTHERHOOD
[/left]MagnetoA Holocaust survivor, he and Xavier were once allies, and they built Cerebro together. However, his belief that humans and mutants could never co-exist lead to their separation. He has powerful magnetic abilities and a sophisticated knowledge in matters of genetic manipulation, which he uses to plan a mutation of the world leaders to allow mutant prosperity.
PyroFormer Xavier Institute student Pyro can manipulate fire, although he cannot start it (he carries a lighter - attached to a cuff on his wrist - with him at all times). He holds a grudge against his former friend Bobby Drake-
Mystique
Toad: A very agile fighter with a menacing streak and a long, prehensile tongue, who can also spit a slimy substance onto others.
Sabretooth: A ferocious, feline-like fighter who attacks Wolverine and Rogue in Canada before being stopped by Storm and Cyclops. He is a brutal and sadistic henchman of Magneto, and wields claws extending past each finger.
Juggernaut: The Juggernaut is a new recruit to the Brotherhood. He is incredibly strong, fast, and once he gains momentum, he becomes next to unstoppable. Despite being the stepbrother of Xavier in the comics, there is no mention of his relation in the film. Also in the comics he is an enchanted human as opposed to a mutant.
The Omegas
A group of mutant outcasts which exists as part of an underground network that stretches across the nation
* Callisto: Callisto is the leader of The Omegas, a group of mutant outcasts. In the comics, she led a similar group called The Morlocks. She possesses superhuman speed, reflexes, agility and senses. She can detect electrical energy spikes from miles away, as well as the presence and powers of other mutants.
* Arclight: Arclight can generate shockwaves of concussive force. In the film, she is able to use different frequencies to target specific materials.
* Kid Omega: Has porcupine-like spines he can extend or retract at will.
* Psylocke: Psylocke has the ability to teleport herself through shadows.
Other Characters
*Jimmy / Leech: A mutant boy whose power neutralizes the powers of nearby mutants. His DNA is the basis for the "cure". After being rescued, he is admitted to the Xavier Institute.
* Moira Mc.Taggert: The daughter of Lord Kinross, Moira Mactaggert was born in Scotland. Moira met and fell in love with Charles Xavier (Professor X) at Oxford University, as a graduate student. However she was forced by her father to marry a politician named Joseph MacTaggert and broke up with Xavier.Moira operated a high-tech Mutant Research Center on Muir Island and it was the largest most advanced facility of its kind that was owned and operated by a private individual.
