I'm curious as to the backstory on how everyone named their Rp character(s) over the years. I would like to see the inspiration on how their names reflect the persons you control in our various role-plays. I'll start!

Aoi Katsu: 青い Aoi was named for the character's blue hair in her original incarnation when Yumi and I first role-played her years ago. Aoi means 'blue' in Japanese. Katsu was added randomly as a joke as she loved to eat meat cutlets, hence what 'katsu' stands for.

Shion Akane: シオン Shion in the name of a good friend of ours and Nu Dragon's, whose first name is actually Shion. Akane was added as it sounded fitting for a family name.

Eliza Palinfeld: You're going to love this one: Nu Dragon and I tossed around the idea of E.L.I.Z.A. being some sort of robot or construct way back in 2008 since Euromecha was a futuristic themed world. Eliza is named after myself (Elizabeth), as its my nickname in real life. When the current role-plays crossed over, we decided to take our original joke idea and make it plot-relevant in the story! So yeah, an idea almost 15 years in the making!

Charl Celsic Demla: Another character named after a rather odd naming convention. I had a friend in school named 'Charlcy', and that name always stuck out to me as it was very uncommon in my country. So I named my elf character around it as 'Charl C', expanding the 'C' to 'Celsic' and adding 'Demla' to make his name sound more fantasy-ish. ^_^

For a lot of my characters, it was back in the early 2000's when for me, everyone should have a cool Japanese name. >.>; so...Kirry and Reiki are a product of that.

Llars Undertow: Llars was just a random thought, but Undertow is related to the sea, so I thought it would make a good surname.

Faulkner Vashaeron: Faulkner after Newton Faulkner, a musician, as I thought it sounded cool. Vashaeron is just a demon-sounding surname I came up with.

Harmony: She's the perfect balance of Demonic and Holy energy, so...harmony!

Ebonegaz: Named so because he sticks to the shadow, mostly.

Shadax Majesico: Named after the main character, Shadax, from the NES game 'Solstice'. I got the idea to use it from Nu Dragon, as he owns the game and mentioned the character in passing many years ago. I (HEAVILY) based my character all around that, see the title screen of the game below!

Lede Surion - Named after my original character from a short fantasy novel I wrote several years ago. This character is basically lifted from my story and inserted into another. Her name is made up to sound fantasy-ish like some of the others here.

Yu Jin Sonata: Yu Jin sounded like a cool name for a martial-arts character, so I chose that as his first name! His whole name is based off of my Fanfiction.net username 'Master Jin Sonata'.

Nerova Rei: Her name originally was going to be 'Nova Rei', as she was going to be a character with galactic-level energy powers, but I modified it to her current name to make her more grounded to the setting she appeared in (Night Spire Ep. 4: The Ring of Fire).

Zephyr Carnegeis: I wanted a name with two rich and sophisticated sounding words to make up the elegant and high-status personality of his character, so I chose the word Zephyr (Greek for 'Light Wind') and Carnegies (named after multi-millionaire American industrialist Andrew Carnegie).

Seperteranious: It's an arranged spelling of the "Serpentarius Zodiac Stone" from Final Fantasy Tactics.

Romanthony and Capulith Galwin - Romanthony is named after the dj and singer of 'One More Time' by Daft Punk. Capulith is inspired by the name of Capulet, the father of Juliet from the Shakespeare play. Galwin just sounded cool for a last name.

Dr. Cynthia Palinfeld Alba - I had a visual in mind for Cynthia in my head years ago, and I pictured here looking like some sort of accountant, so I took that job's acronym of "Certified Public Accountant' which is 'CPA', and formed her name from those three letters.

Adar-Malik - I honestly do not remember why I named him that, but I think its because it sounded cool. XD

Darune Holland - Darune is a slight alteration of 'Darude', the dj who made the popular techno song 'Sandstorm'. Since Darune lives on a desert planet, you can see where I got the idea from. XD

As for Holland? It just sounded like a nice last name to use.
